We will not only talk about which haircuts to choose, but above all how to pair them with your look. So I revisited five of the haircuts that defined 2026 to discover how to interpret them through clothing as well, and here we have hfive haircuts, five attitudes, and five looks to create.
The Butterfly Cut continues to be one of the most recognizable haircuts of 2026. Its strength remains the interplay of layers that frames the face and creates movement without sacrificing length. Compared with the more structured versions seen at the beginning of the season, today it can be interpreted in an even more natural way: soft volumes, light strands, and less rigid styling enhance that sense of movement that has made it so popular. And it is precisely this characteristic that suggests the direction of the look.
They work particularly well with a Butterfly Cut fluid silhouettes, wide-leg trousers, soft fabrics, and necklines that leave room for the upper part of the figure. The goal is not to add extra volume, but to complement the hair’s volume by creating continuity.

Soft, open around the face and perfectly integrated into the lengths, Curtain Bangs continue to be one of the most versatile solutions for anyone who wants a change without completely transforming their haircut. Throughout 2026, we've seen them become longer and lighter, almost blending into the layers that frame the face. Their natural femininity offers two possibilities when it comes to building the look. The first is to follow it, choosing soft fabrics, light transparency, lace details and fluid silhouettesThe second, perhaps even more interesting, is to create contrast through a more structured garment or an element with a bolder attitude. It is precisely from the balance between these two sides that the most contemporary match can emerge.
